Sixth Annual Play-In Connects Players Worldwide

Yet again, chamber music players across the globe assembled for the pleasure of playing-in with friends new and old during the ACMP Worldwide Play-In Weekend earlier this month, March 3 & 4. Playing in tiny New York City apartments to spacious churches and everything in between, musicians adapted to instrumentation needs by bending their ensembles every which way – even using a computer in one case! U.S. play-ins popped up in the West Newton, Massachusetts; Long Beach, San Diego, and Oakland, California, Denver and Boulder, Colorado; Bedford, New York City (4 play-ins), Ithaca, and Trumansberg, New York; and Washington, DC, among many others. International events included Switzerland, Spain, Canada, Germany and Montenegro. There was a lot of good food to be had in even better company during ACMP's sixth annual Worldwide Play-in weekend!
