Sorrento Chamber Music Workshop

Sorrento is a small town wonderfully located over white steep cliffs and offers a fantastic view over the Bay of Naples.  The town sits on a Tufa terrace along the Coast of the beautiful Sorrentine Peninsula and is enclosed by impressive rocks of the limestone mountains. Since ever visitors from all over the world have been attracted to Sorrento by breathtaking sunsets and fragrances of orange and lemon gardens. Its main attractions, beside its wonderful location, are the little historic centre with many boutiques and souvenirs shops, the panoramic Park Villa Comunale, and the picturesque fishing port of Marina Grande.

 

Our location in SORRENTO, for staying and playing, will be “La Culla” Hotel, a magnificent XVIII century building overlooking the sea. “La Culla” is run by Catholic Oblate nuns.

 

The workshop will start on Saturday May 2 at 9:30am. Our gathering party will be Friday May the 1st with a great dinner at “La Culla” Hotel at 7:00 pm.

 

Wednesday, May 6th, we’ll take a tour of Pompeii in English, French and Italian, led by our professional tourist guide, and Workshop participant, Lisa Norall
