Hollyhock Farm Chamber Music Workshop

If you dream of playing chamber music by day and listening to the songs of frogs at night under a sky full of stars, come spend a long weekend at Hollyhock Farm in rural West Virginia honing your chamber music skills under the tutelage of French-born cellist Thomas Maternik-Piret. Come with your music prepared and be ready to take it to performance level with your fellow ensemble members.
Participants will gather on Wednesday evening for dinner and orientation. Ensemble work will begin Thursday morning.
The cost for the workshop is $450.
This price includes all instruction, food, and accommodations. A local chef will cater meals and will incorporate farm-to-table cuisine as available. Participants will have their own bedrooms with shared bathrooms. Also included will be some outdoor activities and perhaps a performance at a nearby venue.
